Our circa 1583 Venetian Breeches are reproductions from a pair that survives to this day in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nurnberg. Ours are made of cotton velveteen and lined in cotton so they’re machine washable, tumble dry.(Colors other than black were not period but have been ask for them)

Our childs breeches are similar to the adult breeches.A bit coservative for tights, are you? Made of 100% cotton, these breeches would have been worn by the peasant or working kids. They are long enough to wear with knee-high boots or wear the cuffs at the top of your calf with sandals. Elastic cuffs make them comfortable to wear as you caulk a ship or reap the harvest. A drawstring waistband allows one to feast and famine in them, or drink a lot of juice, if you like. Ours also have secret pockets hidden in the side seams.
