Copied from an Italian painting of two ladies of the Torella family watching the hunt from their palace terrace, this sleeveless gown has sewn-on satin overskirts and is made of cotton velveteen. Lacing up the sides of the bodice area give a great lift for the bosom but are more forgiving to the waist.
